When the Insurance Company and CSA 2010 get done profiling you. The Bank repo's your Truck and trashes your credit. The IRS taxes you into Bankruptcy. Your going to be history. The game is rigged!

You have not read what I posted about inspections I have got did ya? The Truck is an "07 and I have the title. I have paid no income tax for 5+ years. My credit is very good. So please do a better job of explaining your "wisdom" because your looking like the fool.

O, I get it alright. And I'm not playing a "what if" game at all. I've given one hypothedical senerio...one. And I think many will agree that example to be realistic and somewhat valid!
However...an air leak and cracked shoes...yeah, that was your fault, and you should have been cited. That was VERY fair! But lets put a little spin on your...situation and see what you think. No, it's not a "what if" or "maybe so" senerio, this IS what would happen. Ok, before leaving you did the most in-depth, involved, comprehensive pre-trip you could conducted. You take off and every single part/component on your truck is in tip-top shape, after all, it's a company truck and it brand spanking new! There is absolutely no way you will be cited for anything no matter how many inspections you endure. 1000 officers could inspect you now and not a single one will or could cite you...even if they wanted to... You take your load over the mountain, drop your load and move on to grab that back-haul. One the way you hear a hiss, you loose pressure, and pull over. Great! An air leak! So...you call a mechanic/roadside assistant. Your given an ETA of 1 hour before the mechanic arrives. 45 mins into your wait, an officer pulls in behind you to "see if you're ok". "Im fine officer, just waiting for the mechanic to get here and fix an air leak." O REALLY??? [officer] "Did you do a pre-trip on your truck?" Of course! "Did you conduct a "mid-trip" inspection? "Absolutely...in fact, I did a complete inspection while I was being unloaded 30 miles back". SURE YOU DID!!![the officer thinks] By all rights he CAN and he WILL cite you!!! You can kick and scream all day long about how new your truck is and how grueling your pre/mid/post-trip was but, when it's all said and done...you still walk away with a pretty little citation to frame!!! Is that fair??? NO WAY!!! Like I said, this is not a "what if" senerio, because it happened to me!!!! Even when the mechanic told the officer there was no way I could have predicted the failure of a faulty glad-hand (it cracked under the gasket, very obviously a "fresh" crack...might have happened when leaving the construction site?) I was STILL cited for it!!! So it's fair that I will have deficiant points in the "vehicle maintance" catagory of BASIC even though I had no control over what happened while I was driving???

BTW- Who said, driving/owing a truck gave you the right to do it illegally???? I certainly didn't, nor did I indicate that it was acceptable!
You, "welcome CSA 2010 because..." you don't know enough about it to know better! And whether "you can't/won't follow the rules...." has absolutely nothing to with it! Sure, everyone wants to follow the "rules", and I'm sure most will do their very best to do so. It's the system that is flawed...not the drivers want or will..."Have you got that yet?"

Yes I got it. You still have not. You confirm you got a ticket for a "rookie" mistake~` No spare glad hands. The second thing you have not "got" is you got a ticket that was legit. I also got tickets for my violations. The biggest difference is I'm not whining about them, thinking someone else cares.

Well, we've all made a "rookie" mistake...have we not??? And no, I do not feel it was legit in any way, shape or form! Even if I did have the extra glad hands with me, and I were the one making the repair, not the mechanic, I still would have received the ticket according to that officers logic and reasoning! If it had been a different officer, there may have been a different outcome. Who knows? Your a very slow learner, no wonder you "welcome" such a change! There is no need to "debate" with you...you're one of those people that always has the better opinion, never wrong, has an answer for everything. I'd bet my last dollar you have a HUGE radio in that truck as well! LOL. You can let officals, whomever they may be, walk all over you without ever knowing the difference, but as for myself, I do know the difference, rookie or not. Whether it be in a pulic forum, a letter to my freaking nanny, or directed at an officer at a roadside inspection, I'm going to stand up for what I believe is right! And that is the difference between you and me.

A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have.
    ....Thomas Jefferson
Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.
    .....Ronald Reagan (1986)
Giving money and power to government is like giving whiskey and car keys to teenage boys.
    .....P.J. O'Rourke, Civil Libertarian

    Longshot34 Thanks this.

You make me laugh with the comment "I don't feel it was legit" The problem is it was legit. It was leaking. It was not legal. You got a ticket. Your whining. Thats the difference between us.

As I thought, you use someone else's wisdom and pass it off as yours. Do you wish to get back to your point of a fool owning a truck?
