That’s not the SMS page, so it will show the total number of inspections. Click the SMS link in the upper right and I would bet that your categories may say insufficient data.
And I agree with what you’re saying about it being skewed. I run on a guy’s authority that has 3 other trucks. The other guys don’t leave the state so they don’t get messed with. It’s up to me to get clean inspections because I run all over. Lol

Inspectors who do not find violations will be soon to loose the fancy laptop, creeper and coveralls...
Just like the 'lack' of ticket 'quotas'; the is no magical 'body count' for violations but some officers seem to look for the little extra 'Got Ya' violations to keep it looking like they are being productive.
Their bottom line is I see a violation, it is a violation even after you made an effort to correct the problem, and it will be on the report...
Attitude can also be part of things. I remember a Connecticut inspection. Brand new [second month on the road] tractor pulling a new, very polished, stainless steel tanker. I know the driver didn't get along with the trooper who took 1.5 hours only to write up 'no windshield washer fluid' as the only violation found..... -
as far as attitude, yeah I’ve experimented a lot over the years. I kind of found a way that’s works best for me. Remain neutral but leaning towards positive, very short decisive answers, very little #### chat, but professional. Seems like to much talking and being friendly and nice almost backfires as “he’s trying to hid something” or that the driver is just sucking up to the officer. Folks probably suck up to them all day.
having a bad attitude doesn’t work either lol as tempting as it is sometimes. They still got the gun, the badge and authority to do whatever pretty muchLast edited: Jan 15, 2020

As soon as I so much as see your avatar, I can sure enough predict, nearly word for word, where your following consistent and inevitable pro-company and blame the individual ramblings are going to go.Last edited: Jan 15, 2020
HopeOverMope Thanks this. -
There are alot of forces working in their own best interests, to our own detriment; Including law enforcement as well all private corporate interest.
And safety has absolutely nothing to do with any of it.
It’s all only about the money.... and we have very little power to change any of it.HopeOverMope Thanks this.
