I run the Northeast, and I haven't seen where 4 minutes makes that big of a difference with avoiding traffic. Heck, even hitting rush hour traffic in any of the major cities only adds about 30 minutes to my trip. And how do you say he runs legal when he'll roll on after his hours run out?
Agreed, but not for roadside / scale house enforcement purposes. They'll only pull that info in the event of a major collision involving injuries, and only then if they suspect you're not legal.
If you use a frequest fuel card, it is traceable on the roadside. Seems there was a thread about the flying j and looking up the number and it showed times and all events. It has been about a year since this was posted.
So you're saying that Flying J makes your personal account information available to law enforcement without a subpoena?
I don't trust what's posted here on TTR, I'd rather see that statement direct from the Pilot / FJ online privacy policy. I'll look for it.
Trust it or not is your choice. After I read it, I did the same thing and YES, I could see the information. I then used a friend's card and guess what? I could see his too.
Maybe at a kiosk, but not at the scale house or roadside without an internet connection and password.
I did it on my computer with internet connection. You know an air card. I would hope it has been changed since then, but who knows.
