And you still have nothing. You don't have a CSA score. You have a driver history. It would shock you if you could see some of the driving histories under CSA other drivers have. I spent some time re-reading your post after the previous quote. Remember how CSA is reported. Did the officer place a violation for the missing DOT card on the inspection report? If so how did you get out of the situation. Did your company get you out or did the officer remove the OOS. One or the other had to happen. It is illegal for you to drive a CMV without that card. So if the officer let you go then there was no OOS. I actually think you are fretting about nothing. Do you still have a copy of the inspection report the officer issued? If so look at the violations listed. It is these violations that are placed in your (CSA) driver history. There are exceptions to this but they are very rare OTHER WISE YOU MUST BE INSPECTED BY A MCSAP/CVSA/DOT OFFICER AND GET AN INSPECTION REPORT WITH VIOLATIONS FOR THERE TO BE CSA POINTS, PERIOD.

One of my drivers had wreck, while nobody was injured, it was a bad wreck that totaled the truck and damaged 3 other vehicles. It was worked by city cops. It never has shown up on my CSA.
I'm thinking if the wreck or ticket isn't handled by a DOT certified person, it will never get entered into CSA.
It's gotten where state troopers will at least do a level 3 inspection just about every time you have contact with them. I think that's what generates a CSA entry. In other words, if you get a speeding ticket without any inspection, it will never be posted on CSA. -
And you think correctly. ONLY MCSAP/CVSA/DOT officer's issuing inspection reports effect CSA.

I think you misunderstood him.
He said he did have his card, because he was able to show both the old AND the new one to the officer, but apparently someone with his state's DMV never processed it after he self-certified. -
I kind of thought that too. My angle is I don't think an inspection report was made. I think the OOS was something temporary until the officer got everything straight. I may be wrong, but like I said the inspection report will list the violations.
