Im getting an audible leak from the Air Control Valve, leak location is confirmed by squirting soapy water onto unit. Engine off, it will drain the air tanks in just an hour or two.

Cummins quotes me about $800 for the new part, and they claim there is no rebuild kit.

Has anybody ever rebuilt one of these successfully? Whats in there, Im guessing its just an oring or diaphragm???? I may take it to the local injector pump shop and see what they have to say.

    Help! :biggrin_25523:

There are 2 o-rings and a metal gasket inside of them. They are a pain to rebuild. There isn't a rebuild kit made for them. We usually find one laying around and us the parts from it. You local injector shop might have some parts for it. Truck Pro, if there is one in your are, might be able to match up the o-rings for you. They are not your typical round style. They are rectangular or blocked style. What will leak on it is the metal ring. They crack and they are hardr to find.

    Good luck and stay safe.

Try a scrap yard or try to find a scrap engine.
