Yea. you might be SOL. I think the change in encryption came about at Insite version 8.1. Rumor is some one hacked Cummins calibrations and disabled all emissions in all calibrations, Cummins responded by encrypting calibrations (I guess they weren't encrypted before) and now Insite must be able to read the encryption and I believe that started at Insite version 8.1. Also on a side note I see you have AV10065 code. Has the DPF been replaced? If so and the DPF is the newer version you have to change the code completely. Reference TSB101096

If the Cummins part number of the DPF does not start with 496xxxx then you will need to update the code. AV10065 updates to AV10224
4vmach1 Thanks this. -

This is what I found on the DPF

Yea 5297522, that's phase 3 and you will need the AV10224 code as long as that code was AV10065

Since the calibration wasn't set correctly with that DPF, can this had been the cause to the low temps? I think it was recently replaced when he started having these issues. I can't really get a hold of him on a Sunday to ask when it was replaced...

I've never really gotten a good answer on that. When it all first came out (back in 2011-12ish???) I do remember forgetting to calibrate once and logged a FC for the fuel doser, but I see trucks coming in every now and then with incompatible DPF and calibration, never appears to have much of an impact but I try to have them leave correctly. I still feel your issue is with that turbo and the VGT being calibrated correctly, I've never seen an X run at 98% position. Mid-range yes 98%-100% but X is always around 92ish%.
