Cummins ISX CM871 Technical discussion

well got a bad runnuing ISX its missing under load codes are SID 254__________PID 095_________CA6 249_____Fail 04 THAXS in advance for any help solving the problem! Plus all this came after freightliner changed the lift pump about a month ago

 

Read the thread, watched the Rawze youtubes, replaced 3 EGR Sensors and desooted the intake manifold.... purring like a kitten instead of loping like a wildabeast....
Excellent input from Rawze... Its sad to lose such a valuable forum member for such petty reasons. I honestly didn't have a clue about this whole EGR - DPF system 48 hours ago, now I get it. Kudos to Rawze!!!

 

Anyone would happen to know why i have 2 codes always appearing on my truck.......

I have 2 pete's 2009 387 with ISX,,,,,,hot side on the driver side.......and both have approximately 400-500k miles.


But my both trucks are always showing below two codes in the little computer that is attached in the dash...... Mechanic don't know why these codes come,,they are inactive though,,,even we clear couple times but they still come...

If anyone can let me know will be really appreciated.

Engine Controller

Below Normal Range

Second code:
SID 33 Active 31
Engine Controller
Fan Clutch Output
Voltage > Normal

Exh. backpressure sensor and feeder tube, and EGR temp. sensor. ?


is it EGR Temp Sensor > Delta P sensor same ?

Exhaust Backpressure sensor is Doser ?

Acabo de comprar un Peterbilt 387 del 2009 con motor ISX 450, es para transportar a España y tiene averia en DPF y Turbo, actualmente tiene 450K millas y antes de ir a recogerlo para su transporte a Europa desearía ponerlo en marcha y reparar esta avería.
Donde Puedo repararlo?
Cuanto puede costar esta reparación?
Que me recomendáis?.
