I keep mine under 1500 usually 14-15 hundred rpm Cummins will tell you any time your over 1500 you start sucking a lot of fuel..
-
What kind of fuel mpg do you get
-
took out crankcase filter full of black oil , and i'm doing EGR Tune up as Razee suggested,,one of my freind did that and increased fuel milage plus engine runs smooth afterwards. All these sensors and carb buildup needs to be cleaned every 150k miles atleast.

Sounds like you may have solved my problem. I am sure I can do this work myself, but have been unable to find a diagram of my 2006 ISX to locate the sensors and tubes. Any suggestions...thank you...sunseeker269
