cummins isx egr cooler

    I thought that cummins fixed the egr cooler in 2011, but I guess I was wrong. I bought my 2011 with cummins isx in October 2013 the egr cooler was changed right before I got the truck, now it is leaking. I don't want to replace it with cummins part. I heard that bostech and behr making a better cooler that made out of stainless and it was improved to last longer than the OEM one. wondering if any one know anything about that or shall I delete it all together?

    bostech bis good but when you say leaking can you give more info as in where and what signs are you seeing, also when you say delete are you talking about doing away with the oil cooler all together?

    I'm using antifreez and no leaks. same thing happened on my 2008 isx and it was the egr cooler.
    i know that I can get the egr delete kit but don't know the result of deleting it.

    Iwill never own another cummins product agian warranty sucks and emissions equip are crap ive had 5 and never agian they ranged from 2007 to 2012 junk

    there is a company in st George,ut,,,makes a egr delete kit,,you will have to reprogram your ECM look them on the net
