If you can catch it post a pic? Might need to get to dealer to get ESA hooked up to see what is stored. Likely not serious I'd say.

I would inspect the battery box, starter, and alternator areas for an inductive amp clamp. If you find the amp clamp I believe this is the circuit fault being displayed. It would be a plastic sensor loose around one of the main cables. Is your truck equipped with an ammeter? These are the areas I would start.
-
Yes but ampmeter is not working. I replace the alternator and went to the shop to see why ampmeter was not working they double check everything and all seen good with starter, battery. Getting good juice but meter said is bad. Thinking about changing the amp gauge and see.
-
Look outside the cab for the inductive pickup as I mentioned. It is much more likely that you have a wiring issue or the pickup is damaged or bad than a defective gauge. I don't think if the gauge itself were bad the cecu would detect a fault. Only open or shorted circuit.
-
To add , If you really don't care about the ammeter the dealer should be able to disable the gauge parameter to remove the fault from the display. Be nice to fix it though I think.

Was looking for the wire going to the gauge Took the dash apart and it looks that all the secondary gauges are conected together ( amp, axel temp, trams temp, turbo, oil temp etc..) check all relays and fuse. i really want to get fix.
