cummins isx (fuel shutoff valve) code (help)

I’m having the same issue. Truck wasn’t shutting off after I turned the key to the off position. I only replaced the solenoid itself. I cleaned the parts inside and used new seals. Truck still doing the same thing. I have a couple of questions. First, does it matter that I replaced my solenoid with an aftermarket brand Interstate McBee? Second, do I need replace all of the internal parts as well? Lastly, is there a reset procedure after installation? Does the code need to be reset for the fix to be complete or should the new solenoid work right away?

 

I replaced only the solenoid and it worked fine immediately. I bought mine at MHC, though.

 

Might have a bad injector. Need to see if you are getting compression in fuel.

 

Was the code you getting 1925?

 

That was a while back, I dont remember the code. Truck didn't shut off immediately with the key, though. You can do the solenoid yourself and it's a cheap fix, if that's your problem.

1925 is an after treatment (emissions) fault

Aftertreatment Fuel Shutoff Valve 1 - Data Erratic,
Intermittent, or Incorrect. An error has been detected in
the aftertreatment fuel shutoff valve or the aftertreatment
fuel injector system. –
