Hey friends I have a question,

So my boost pressure sensor on my Cummins isx engine on my 2013 kenworth t800 plugs in and out because of the lock being broken. And my truck stalls everytime it plugs out. I plugged out my sensor and my truck drives just fine. If I leave this sensor plugged out will it cause any problems?

When the sensor is disconnected the engine sees default temp and pressure just to keep the engine running. I wouldnt advise driving disconnected any longer than necessary to get the part and get it fixed. wont hurt anything long term, but fuel mileage might be in the toilet.

Repair the connector with a new one- you need Cummins part#5299163

    Gurjap and 062 Thank this.

I've had success with using small zip ties to hold connectors together as a temporary fix.

    Gurjap Thanks this.
