I'm not sure if I'm reading this right or not but it seems like in 2016 models they had fixed the Cummins ISX engine issue with the liners sinking? Is this accurate or am I just missing something? I'm about to buy a used truck with an ISX but it is a 2016 peterbilt and I'm trying to find out if I need to be weary of the liners dropping or if I can just do a bottom end on it with an oil pump and run it to a million miles?

Seems to still be an issue, they did band aid it with the brass shimed liner from factory. Think @Goodysnap has overhauled an X15 with dropped liner.
