Cummins recommends every 150k miles
-
Usually 800 to 1 million miles is what I've seen. if it was used in heavy haul some where around 500k. Mine I did at 900k.
-
Friend of mine has his in the shop for rebuild, made it to 1m.
-
Overhaul or overhead?
-
Over haul
-
Yah I am looking at a truck with 600k miles 600 hp he said he pulled heavy so just wondering how much I will get out of her if I was to buy
-
How heavy is heavy 3 axle 4 axle b trains or ?
-
Heck, I had a Prime driver tell me they were loaded heavy, 80,000 pounds...
-
Sorry, I thought you meant overhead adjustment. If you're buying a 600k mile ISX get it on a dyno first and get the blowby numbers, if it checks out good put new bearings in it, ISX's tend to show extreme bearing wear around 600k, going longer will start to damage the crank.
blairandgretchen Thanks this.
