Cummins isx pulling rpm

    I have a DDEC2 that's been turned up. I have to drive it in the mountains. I back out of it because it doesn't have coolers. If I kept my foot in, I'd cook it. Fortunately for me, I learned how to drive a 262. Ya got to pay attention while driving!

    Watch pyrometer gauge and go from there .. if it’s doesn’t have one make that your next purchase.. nobody here knows how the delete was done some burn down very quickly unless monitored .

    ISX’s last the longest at higher rpm ranges 1500 and up.Low rpm and high torque kills them and the extra vibration at low rpm’s drops liners in them.

    Been quite a while since I’ve been behind an isx but I’m pretty sure fuel cut off is 2350, usually keep my n14 16-1850 pulling and keep boost low much below 1500 rpm, don’t need to fret the mains
