That looks like a good set up different than Detroit ear mount set up . I see good a/c lines w/ bracket either tube-O or Rotolock. Thats a “short body” compressorI was thinking serpentine belt set up as he had a tensioner. I have a Air Products catalog if part #s needed

Maybe rounded out a little already. The Detroit brackets holes are too big brand new. Try metric bolt might get lucky with right fit.

I have this bracket if you need it brand new never used it

So this is my new to me old truck. Should I be keeping an eye on this and planning for the bracket conversion?
Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
I'm not an expert. Mine did not have this extra bracket. It did not seem like the most practical way of securing a heavy bracket and compressor under periodic tension with only 2 bolts into an aluminum pad.

Mine never really sounded healthy when the compressor kicked in. If you just watch the compressor when it kicks in , it is quite obvious. It's either steady or it's moving about. Mine always blew cold but my doubts were eventually confirmed. Thanks for the pic. I will be adding an extra bracket to mine even with the conversion.
