Cummins N14 engine swap question

I have a good one for ever one . I have a n 14 525 horse. I rebuilt this motor May 2014. 92920 miles later . coming through Lewisville Ky. it started knocking come home on the hook # 4 piston broke off on one side where the pin goes through it. anyone ever had this problem be for . I have talked to several cummins people about this . no one ever seen this happen be for.

 

Factory parts or aftermarket? Guy I'm leased to has not had any luck with aftermarket. One E-model two acert,none of them made it much over 100k. The E-model broke a wrist pin first trip.

 

i bought aftermarket. i tel why i was talking to the people at Cummins in columbus Ind. i ask the man what he thought of after market parts . like clivite . he said wher do you think we get them from. when i built the motor last year i used interstate macbee. every one i talk to said they were good parts.

 

black smoke is normally not caused by an injector. It is normally caused by some type of air restriction.
