Bought this truck in jan of this year, truck ran but was weak due to age. It burned 4 gallons of oil in 12k miles and fuel milage was around 5mpg.
2 weeks ago i did overhaul on it,with new injectors, new heads, new exhaust manifold, new turbo all new fuel lines, new oil pump. Truck runs the same as before the overhaul,it's running weak.Fuel milage stays around 4.3- 4.5mpg. I have no codes no lights on dash nothing. Turbo boost showing 63psi on wot but truck is slow as hell. This is my 1st cummins engine so i don't know much about them, what do you guy's think the problem is? Could it be the fuel pump? Thanks in advance.

Idk, maybe the fuel pump. Bad grounds, maybe. What exactly do you mean no power? That might help someone help you

Say you put your foot to the floor and the truck is speeding up slowly like if you're only at 1/4 throttle.

Check the pump pressures. Easy to verify.
If you're turning out 60+ on an N-14 it would have grenaded long ago. Check that gauge for accuracy and make sure the sensor isn't bad. Max boost is around 38-40psi

    magoo68 and BigJoeTX Thank this.
