    Actually CAT owns every dog food manufacturer in the world...

    Isuzu owns Bentley which was bought by Rover (the car company NOT the dog) when it took over Studebaker from Willys after they sold Ford to Scania for one million shares of Packard after they went bust under MOPAR's management after which Sunbeam (the car company NOT the appliance maker) decided that Trabant was good deal when they bought it from GM.

    Now GM owns Fiat under the table because people wouldn't buy GM built Fiats because Volvo owns SmartCar since they sold Oldsmobile after Plymouth went under.

    We'd have a 75mpg DIESEL Ford Fiesta that Europe has if it wasn't for the windowlickin' EPA.(Waves finger, and it ain't the good one either.)

    Thats comical.


    Today's pickups even when used for work go plenty more 100s of thousands of miles than 99.9% of hobby trucks.
    These aint your daddy's pickups of 50/60 years ago when 100,000 miles was a major accomplishment.
    A properly maintained pickup of today's vintage are perfectly capable of doing 500,000. Some do a million.
