One engine from Maxxforce uses the engine block and the cylinder heads of CAT C-15.

    COST,your worried about cost.:biggrin_2555:

    The hell with cost!!!

Your putting this in a Heavy Truck not a car, right?

The CAT is the way to go for starting in any weather and power.

If it is good for a Heavy Equipment then it good for a Heavy Truck. :biggrin_25514:

+1 Lol. Every pre and past emission CAT I drove were gutless nothing, compare to pre 2010 Cummins. I don't even wanna mention the engine brake on those CATs, purely for sound effect purposes. Even the Detroit pulls better. Haven't trided the newer past 2010 SOHC ISXs I heard they gutless too.

Cummins stay away from the ISX it's bs to the max. Cat parts are more expensive and are just loud trash

My compassion were based on trips Montreal QC > Vancouver or North BC > South Cali > Motreal QC with a fully loaded reefer. As you can see mountains weren't lacking. If compared stock to stock with similar ratings pre 10 ISX15 vs C15 the latter is a joke in climbs and downhills with similar truck, diffs and trannys. I haven't driven and tuned CATs nor the new ISXs.
