At Key on the electric lift pump should run for 2 min and stop on its own. Key on again repeats the cycle. Wait for the pump to stop before key cycling again. The only purpose of this pump is to prime. I would say you most likely still have air in the system and are cranking before the air is all purged.

Next time try watching in the tanks before cranking and see if it fires fine. Again if you have the taller Paccar filter it may take longer and more cycles to prime. I would suspect other issues or even faults with a suction leak.

Cause I usually do it 5 times like 30 seconds each time when I hear the fan or pump shut off so next time I'll do it 3 times 2 minutes each prime ?

Be happy you don't have MX or you'd really be cussin' after changing filters. Lol

Have you tried just changing one fuel filter @ a time with a restart in between? This way, you get less air in the system.

Long FLD and 062 Thank this.

I would try this method. I have a mx13 and that’s how I do it.
