    N14 was the last one he'd buy, basically an advanced and beefed up 855. OHC ruined it for him. Back in the day he had a 9670 cpl 838 that was turned up by previous owner and it ran like a raped ape. direct drive 3.55 good for about 68-69 mph. Wishes he never sold it. Heard way too many horror stories about the ISX. I've driven the 12 & 15 ISX and was more impressed with the DD15 I had doing food service. 100 truck fleet, all sleeper units with 48ft spring ride Danes. Stop and go all day fleet avg was around 6 mpg. Lots of times leaving the barn 83-84k

    The sand can hes pulling with a star car has 505 dd15 3.90 rears and hes very impressed with how it pulls, destroys fleet spec'd ones. Shocking coming from an old school keep it stupid simple guy. That 93 ch in my avatar hes restoring and putting it to work in the spring. Pretty much clean as you can expect out of a 93.     Would be fine for glider that elog mandate bothers anyone, switching to trucks older than 2000.

    Isx engines built after n14 were chaos. For me post 2013 isx15 works less issues than the pre 2013.
