If they fire you for curbing a tire just smile and move on.
That's way too much stress to put up with and the company is being unreasonable.
Instilling fear in drivers and keeping them in a constant state of fear is a lousy way to run a trucking company.
And quit running over curbs, okay? It's hard on tires and it makes you look like a dope. ;)

After you get past this, I would find a new company to work for. Any company that would fire a driver for running over a curb, I would give my middle finger.

The first time my daughter backed out of our driveway she went over the curb, almost took out our mailbox, and the neighbors cat. I thought I might have to fire her.:D

If you didn't blow a tire then don't say anything.
Big mistake if you rat on yourself.

Only way they'll see anything is the scrub mark on the tire. Whjch will eventually disappear. Or blame it on whoever pulled trailer before you.

And I wouldn't worry about dac. 90% of trucking companies don't even use it.

Due to city codes with landscaping and traffic control Most of the stores I had to deliver tires to in a straight truck were tight with trees and curbs but they would still get factory direct shipments in 53’s. No one ever did NOT hit a tree limb or curb. It was s.o.p. You just had to be gentle. Some of the strip mall type locations the only way in and out with a truck was the wrong way.

I carry a spray can of tire shine foam and a heavy shop towel. It makes those pesky imbarassing curb marks on a tire sidewall disapear! Lol!

Blows my mind the crap you truckers have to deal with. Piss poor how this country depends on truckers so much on one hand, and ####s all over them on the other. Truckers should be looked at as heroes, no different than a fireman.

I find it hard to believe they would fire you for that. I don’t see how they would have any drivers at all if they fired over something like that. Just roll and don’t say anything.

Don’t be paranoid. It too stressful. The guard was most likely nosing around at the dock doing his job just making sure you were supposed to be there.

I thought maybe you would promote her to driver trainer?
