Curious about Bulk or Tankers

    wonderful thread!
    I started hauling produced water oil field, vacuum trailer tankers. so far I am really liking it. I think I would like to stay tanker. Several have told me I should look into crude hauling. I dont think I'd like smooth bore trailer. I have baffles now and that's not to bad, tho the other guys say I'm bit over careful. not sure about the compartment kind, no clue about those.

    I like my pneumatic. My company hauls flour to different bakeries. It can't be a pain in the 100 degree weather or when it's freezing outside. Different things come into play depending on what you're hauling. Moisture in the tank, wash out facilities not getting them dried properly, etc. You'll want to carry extra clamps for the belly line, a roll of duct tape, electric tape, bottled water, a heavy dead blow mallet, and plenty of shims. Some places have pressure limits which will affect how long it takes to unload. The list goes on...
