Wow, that sounds familiar. Kinda the same thing happened to me in Michigan. Ran out of hour, was supposed to pick up a trailer from a Home Depot yard. Got there, guess what no trailer. Hadn't even started loading it yet. Got stuck at a pilot all weekend.

 

Seniority has its perks....

That's why they are constantly hiring new drivers. The company I work for now, doesn't matter if you been there 10 years or 2 weeks, if your empty first, you get the better load.

 

Did a two stop plastic pipe load was empty at 0700 Eastern time. Planners not even awake yet . Fm offers me a load from the planners now @ 0930. 60 miles away loads at 1800 and next day delivery. Told them to hit the road.

 

Don't blame you there. That's just stupid.

 

A company that is always advertising would be onne to stay away from.

They didn't hire a guy I know because he had dreadlocks. I didn't beleave him but if it was the reason that's crazy

 

If you do actually get there and attend their orientation, if they don't like you, they will look for an excuse to send you home. I seen it with my very own eyes.
