Hello there, I worked with USX for little over a year and plan to go back, not a bad company as long as you are a team driver. Let me know if you are interesed in teaming..PS I have a small terrier..woof..woof..
My bf just signed up with the Family Dollar account as well through Werner and I just wanted to know how you liked the Family Dollar account. I've heard tight parking lots but good miles and hours and hometime. Would you agree?
i just got accepted with usx lookin forward to it my dad drives for them and he does more than i need to get by and a buddy of mine said the same about them
It is what they call "finger print" freight, you hand unload every piece It is some tight backing, and my trainer is home every other night, and Thursday - Sunday morning. He does live 5 min from the DC though. I will let you know the home time I get in a few weeks. I get my own truck next week!!!
It's not a bad company, I drove for quite a while for them. Only thing is,they brought me in and said I had to find a team driver. Not big on teams, so I left and went to a different company. Just be careful, they have so many people come through orientation just to go home and wait for a truck or trainer. Maybe things are getting better, but one thing is for sure, while on the road, stay away from the terminals. You will not get a load for a couple of days. Teams have priority. Good luck and let us all know.
i know this aint the best company but being a ''newbie'' i have 2 take what i can get im going 2 tunnel hill today got a 20 hour bus ride no big deal. im 22 ive busted my ### in the a/c buisness figured it was time 4 a change so this is what i want 2 do regardless of all the bad things iv'e heard if these guys will give me a truck im gonna go 4 it YOU GOT TO TAKE YOUR BUMPS SOMEWHERE!
Must of had a bad time driver. I'm a re-hire who's coming back after family leave, I had no problems and had a truck after my i got my fuel card ect..People either love them or hate them, all companies have faults.
I'll be going to Dallas on wed for Orientation. Any helpful word of wisdom for me. Any pointers would be helpful. Thanks
