Can you run without curtains. I don’t need them for the load I pull. The ones that came with the trailer are shot so I was looking to run without until I can get new ones. My only concern was would it rip the roof or the back doors off running open. I just got the trailer yesterday and my initial thought was to buy new ones or cut the whole top off and run it as a flat bed.
I only haul generators and once or twice a year.

If the roof is held on tight enough with the center posts,
And not flap at hiway speeds it should be OK to pull it, and be alot easier to load and unload without having to mess with the sides every time you get to a stop? But the back doors maybe like pulling a parachute -
I'd really be concerned with the drag on the doors damaging them.

I see it done all the time with the curtains strapped all the way to the back. Mostly local lumber in the summer. If your trailer ain’t junk it’s fine. You can always take the doors off if your worried.
