My wife is a Manager at Verizon and she taught me how to get around things by writing nice-nasty notes. You send a note to the supervisor telling him how they are costing the company money and how they can remedy it. I did that once and I was hero of the year in a flatbed op. I had an incident later where I haaad to load a flat load that would take the side kit and they told me I had to remove both sides to load. I got mad and threw every one off the back of the trailer in a pile and then told the guy to load it. They asked dispatch to never send me back. . I was "real sorry" and told them I'd never go back anyway.
