Dude! Raney’s is cheap Chinese junk. You will be spending that every year. I seriously doubt anything on that A model in the op’s post come from there. I bought a grill from them once and it fell apart within a year.

Roadworks, dynaflex and phoenix are pretty reputable companies for aftermarket parts. I am pretty sure everything on those trucks came from these 3 companies .

I literally saw a truck on YouTube that was bought by a younger dude and I had seen in a walk around video on YouTube and also saw it in person at a truck stop in South Dakota last year.

I know the truck had a lot of money into it. I know it was for sale for the cost of a new one pre pandemic but the builder has a customizationnshop so a lot of the custom work was done for their cost vs trying to pay someone for it.

What I’m getting at is how the heck did this younger guy afford that truck without some daddy money or inheritance or something. I’m not going to mention the truck or person etc because I don’t know him. For all I know he busted ### for years and earned the money for it. If so more power to him. The truck was a legit working show truck and this young dude is working it. I just don’t see it being able to stay so fresh if road hard and put away wet.

I’ll hopefully paint mine someday. I’m more of a RatRod type of person vs a shiny everything type. But I am sitting here knowing my truck needs a wash and hopefully this next week we run by a nice place to git r done, I sure do appreciate some of the cool rides on the road I see vs all the current offerings.

A straight unpainted 379 hood can be north of 10k. Joplin Peterbilt can be from 25k to 60 on a paint job depends on how much corrosion they find. Only cure is new panels....and it’s not always obvious till they start. Cheap chrome or stainless on my Pete is like my lady wearing costume jewelry and fake fur.....neither has much but what is on them is the real deal. Frame paint alone can be 10k to get done right.

I actually met this guy in nj a few years back. The truck hadn't been modified that much yet. We had a good conversation he was a fairly young guy. To each his own

This was done in open air too Lol. Not show quality but for a working truck it looks #### good.

I think a stainless visor looks good on a lot of trucks but on here I think it would look out of place
