Yep kind of high. Yet for some here, it may make sense to have your physical done some place that rushed them through.

What is a "real" clinic. 99% of DOT Physicals are done by a Physicians Assistant or Nurse Practitioner anyways. Those are the people that staff those CVS and Walgreens clinics. Practically every Urgent Care Center is the same. In reality a Medical Tech could do a DOT Physical. It certainly is not a very in depth "exam". If it was, 1/2 of the drivers out here could not pass one. It is almost a "formality". Just my opinion, which is worth exactly what you paid for it:biggrin_25522:

That is abso-effing-luteley right. Concentra is the WORST! They are in the back pocket of almost every mid to large employer in the Country. I have yet to speak to one person who has said, "Wow, I was just at Concentra, what a GREAT place!" Lol

Maybe so, but 109 bucks for something that lasts two years isn't much to spend.
You do the math, I'm too busy...109 bucks for two years...how much a day is that physical costing you?
I'll bet you spend more money on coffee and candy bars every year.

I'll bet lots of drivers spend $109.00 on coffee, sodas and candy bars in less than a month!

Neither of the cvs’s that I went to the past 4-6 years didn’t do a hernia check

They have cracked down on BP and medical history. Depending on the Dr. they can give 3 mo. to 2 yr. cert. It’s up to their discretion, from what I understand. Used to be if you could walk in, you passed.

I keep waiting for the time that Veterans Affairs providers can do these physicals. This has already been done, for some reason, it's not happening. Of course, I no longer drive, but if I were still an active driver I would be using the VA if I could, none of that OSA BS! All my medical history is right there for the provider! Every Veteran that uses TTR should continue to monitor these developments!
