Well I went to CVS minute clinic. Bad choice. 1st of all she did not know how to put the cuff on my arm for blood pressure. It actually exploded like almost like a gun went off. Then she tells me my blood pressure is 150 and I have high blood pressure. Probably because I was startled by the gun shot going off. Then she said, ok we'll check it later. Then she weighed me on a house scale that was incorrect. Then she gives me the eye and hearing exam and tells me that I need to have a further evaluation from a specialist. OK no problem I'm becoming more mature and sure my eyes are weaker and my hearing has always somewhat been an issue that's not surprising. So immediately I make appointments for the test luckily I could get them right away, and I call her and say Hey can I drop this off to you. She says no no no no I WILL RETEST YOU.. I said well you're getting a detailed report from a medical doctor that specializes in this field why do you have to retest me? So she says I will determine what goes on you just come back in here and I WILL GIVE YOU MY OWN TEST.. So in other words she's going to stand 10' behind me and whisper and if I don't hear her she's going to fail me after I've just had a complete and extensive audiological exam on specific scientific highly sensitive equipment. So I go do the vision test and it turns out my vision is acceptable. OK great can you write that down so that I have it? No there's a specific form for that, didn't she give you forms? No she gave me 0 forms I spoke with her twice she didn't tell me I needed forms. So I contact another testing place that I am familiar with and they were nice enough to fax over the forms. But this was after my exam was over so I had to come back the following day for additional tests. I also went and took my hearing test. So I took my results to another clinic and they happily accepted them, they tested my blood pressure and whatever else and gave me my medical card. That woman had absolutely no idea what the hell she was doing. And you call CVS to complain, you go through a myriad of people that end up telling you that a supervisor has to review this and call you back, but no one is there that you can speak with... that was on Monday today is Friday and as of yet no one has called me back. Find a small clinic or chiropractor or something. I called my bank and I am working on canceling the payment. F them.
They didn't really have anything listed in my area there was just a few bad reviews at least that's what I saw.
Never go to these places. Find a god local person that specializes in these. I found one that will come to your house to and she has been great.
Go to a real doctor that you can trust. Mickey Mouse pharmacies will get you nowhere, maybe even fail you because they have no clue what they are doing.
Concentra You need an employee based urgent care. These people knock me out of there in a half hour with little to no hassle. Even normal family doctors are lost when it comes to DOT physicals. I’m surprised that CVS even knows what a CDL even is? Not surprised at all to hear you had troubles. I get the high blood pressure scare every visit , too.
