CVS physical ordeal...

I have a friend who works in the corporate office, he tells me all the time how absolutely horrible it is to work there and he actually went and got his CDL to prepare for an exist someday.

It's actually easy to figure out companies like this: any company that would have the gull to sell the problem and the cure in the same company is not your friend. In other words, they sell diabetes and the medicine all under the same roof!

 

Went to CVS once. Without going into the details, I was very close to ripping her head off.

 

I have this bad. Did a BP study for my med doctor. He sees no reason to medicate me. I've used him 30 years. He used to do my physicals. He stopped because he thinks its BS.

This is disgusting. But hammer back a bottle of beat juice before hand. Plus the normal water, avoid coffee and alcohol a few days ahead.

I'll take my medical advise from my trusted Doctor, not a physical or Government.

 

It runs in my family but I just continue to monitor. 1 out of 5 times I get checked it’s elevated but not crazy high. Don’t love the idea of taking a bunch of meds my body doesn’t necessarily need.

Trusted doctor? Where do I find one of those. Almost as hard to find as a good mechanic. Lol….

 

I know mine will retire eventually. That makes me concerned. He's old school and not a pill pusher.

 

I had to take a physical at concerta a few months ago and it took 4 hours of waiting+ 3hours testing. Before I went in the afternoon they said it’s a 4 hour wait and to come back in the morning. I came back next morning, (it was a wednesday) right when they opened and that took 4 hours of waiting also.

 

Here's a metric I use: if you walk into the doc's office or clinic and the staff (typically female) are fatter than you are, turn around and walk out.

That must be a popular side gig for them, that's who does mine too

 

You can’t get a physical at any doctor, the have to be registered with fmcsa and have to enter you physical into their data base.
You need a long form so you can sent a copy of it to your state.
