I drove thru Mississippi yesterday both inbound and outbound scales were open, got green on prepass outbound. Louisiana was closed, but got a an unpleasant surprise in Texas just outside of Dallas on the I20, I got waived thru they had too many trucks pulled over already. I was able to dodge Carolinas and Georgia scales.

So far this week we've run from LA to Columbus on the I-40, I-44, and I-70. Nothing out of the ordinary for inspections from what we've seen.

California was really quiet on I-40/CA-58. Nothing on 99 either.

There's one good thing about a 62 mph truck. By the time you pass the roadside inspection camp, they just wave you on by because they're already full.

You should join OOIDA and keep up with such. Very well publicized.

You know what? That sounds like a good idea, I'll give OOIDA a call tomorrow, and see about joining.

    6 Speed Thanks this.

Try 63mph for a lease purchase driver. Sad as that may seem. It's all true. No, I am not leased on with Prime. Thank God for that. I-45 North and South in Texas were opening and closing. Southbound doesn't seem to work right. DOT was checking a driver and ended up letting him go, and then I pulled in also, and DOT waived me on. The DOT officer thanked me for pulling in.

Yup those were my thoughts on it too.
guys were passing me like they were going somewhere in a hurry .
10 miles up the road scale open , bypass lane for me because their inspection site was full . Lmfao

That only happened at one tho.

Now that the blitz is over, how did everyone fare?

Here is a summary of my DOT interactions:

    Tues: I was off
Weds: passed 3 scales. Two were closed; one weigh in motion, pulled onto scale, green lighted.
Thu: passed 6 scales. Four were closed; PrePass bypass on two.

I'd say it was another successful blitz for me.

For those who want to know, the scales were WI I-43 and I-94; IL I-55, I-80; IN I-65; and OH I-70
