    Hell no!!!! I love elogs. It's much easier. PC is been abused terribly. It's one thing to go a few minutes up the street if you run out of time, but you got drivers that will run out of time and change zip codes, as in 30 miles or more on PC. Many of those drivers didn't manage their clocks properly. I hardly ever use PC, and I infrequently burn out my clock. I don't do that unless it's necessary. I think in some cases time management is the issue. It wouldn't matter to me if they put a limit on it or not. My company does have a limit and will get on you if you use it improperly.

    People speed because they book load they can't make on time. I think it starts with load planning, especially in the spot market world.

    It is, if you ever see FMSCA suspending or removing ELOGS from their certified list, this is the reason most times.

    Instead of hurting the industry as a whole, remove the drivers that are misusing PC. And I agree, something has to be done about shipper/receivers that waste our clocks.
