That hasn't been my experience. I went years without being inspected...until I rolled across a scale a little heavy on my trailer. Bought me an inspection after I mashed the brakes once to shift the weight (end dump). Passed & got a sticker on the truck & trailer. Next 2 months, I got inspected 3 more times...officers seemed to take that sticker as a challenge to find something the last guy missed. Peeled off the stickers and went another 4 years without an inspection.
Put one of those #### things on my truck and I'll peel it off before I roll.
