After picking up in Bloomington, il. I delivered in Danville , va. and went on hometime. Will be leaving out tomorrow morning without a internet connection, and I wont be able to update until I get another service provider, or get to a terminal.

Sounds like you're getting good miles. How is the open road treating you? Be safe and have fun

After I left from hometime, I picked up a load in mount Crawford, va. and delivered it to Jonesboro, ar. Then I picked up a load in Rossville, tn. and delivered that to Wilmington, il. After I drop that load, I headed to pickup load in belvidere, il. , but it did not pickup till sun, so I got another load to pickup in east Dubuque, il. to Monroe township, nj. so I stop at the petro in Rochelle, il. to take a break and walk around the store and seen the Verizon store and asked about the broadband devices. I decided to get the mifi device, so I have internet now. Its expensive, but its worth having on the road. I am at a service plaza in nj. near the delivery for in the morning.

I am getting on average between 2000 and 2200 miles a week. I have ran a lot more than that some weeks. Really all I need to do is 2000-2200, as I don't have a wife or kids to take care of to have to do more than that. The open road is okay, but I would not do this for years and years. That's just my thoughts. Not trying to deter anyone, you might come out here and like it enough to do it for years.

No such luck getting to the pitt,:biggrin_25510: instead I pickup load in Schenectady, ny. and delivered to philly, pa. Had to wait 12hrs on that load which winded up being delivered late, but I did get a watermelon out of the deal:yes2557:. so I am sitting here in Paulsboro, nj. at the ta waiting on a load.

Hey cwc how are you doing? Are you plan on doing local after your year is up? How is Prime treating you? 2000-2200 is pretty good, do you choose to run that many miles or you can do more? I have no wife or kids, just a dog, a gf, and a expensive car hobby lol. I would like just to run as many miles as possible when I get out there. Be safe, enjoy the ride.

Good luck finding a local job whose insurance will cover a newb with only 1 year of experience.
