And air compressor is crazy, it cut in normally at 95 and sometims at 120, 110 , no rules.

Dont worry about the compressor cutting in and out that because the air dyer turns it on and off Does the power steering get to the point of over flowing i think the power steering is getting diesel in it from the pump as the ps and fuel are connected , can you see any coolant marks anywhere check all behind the turbo on the side cover all round the rad hoses everywhere youll see its like dry white ish residue

Is the P/S reservoir shared (connected) with something else? Coolant loss could be the EGR cooler manifold. These coolers have rubber gaskets/o-rings that turn brittle/shrink with time. It is very difficult to actually see the leaks being that they tend to be between the cooler & exhaust manifold. Because of the heat involved in that area of the engine the coolant tends to dry up before it can hit the ground. Another area that you should check is your transmission, it has a cooler built into the radiator. When it's becomes compromised, coolant will be pushed into the transmission.

I'm just wondering if the power steering is rising and lowering due to temperature because of use? Sounds like it should've blown open by know. I think the coolant level is the EGR cooler.

there is power steering radiator that is located on the inside the frame passenger side if its leaking its possible to mix power steering and coolant if your power steering level is rising and you are losing coolant its logical to look there

And because of the heat, I imagine it can then evaporate some of the coolant out the ps reservoir vent? Would the cap look milky or would the temperature keep the cap clean?

PS cooler is failed , your coolant is going into the power steering system.
    Fix asap!
Btw, that little cooler is usually $600-800

You'll need to flush the ps system afterwards too.

Regarding the air compressor, you'll need a fresh governor.

Dont know what your PS level issue maybe. But I just got my truck out of the shop for loosing excessive coolant. 2 to 4 gallons a week. It wasn't pooling under the truck and it would only leak while engine was running. Found out it was a blown head gasket and it was mixing with my oil. Did an oil change a week prior to putting it in shop and pan was overflowing, and oil was pitch black with only 6k miles. Haven't had any issues from it since.

So I have the same problem “losing coolent” we ran a pressure test nothing is leaking so we pushed the pressure up to 21 lbs still nothing so we flushed the whole system. The mechanic think it might be a head gasket but the #### thing has less than 450k miles on it. So please let me know what you ended up doing. Because I can’t take my truck to the dealer because I’ve by passed the DEF system it was costing me a fortune.

The problem was injector cups and injectors (1 failed but at the dealership they've changed all 6).
After installing injectors and injector cups I had to go back to dealership because they didn't put cups properly so they had to do it again.
