D13 egr problems

O ok yeah but I’m just wondering why it keep breaking tho even tho it’s under warranty

 

I put my egr back on cuz I needed the rapid warmup. No probs with the egr but got other issues going on. My truck has over 700k miles now.

 

Did Taking it off caused any of those problems

 

No just took forever to warm up

 

okay so you said it sounds like they are just throwing parts at the truck, possible, but lets think about what PUSHES the EGR gas throw the system.....the turbo. If he had problems with his VGT then yea it sounds like they might have missed it the first time and second time, unfortunately, he needs the cooler cleaned and a vgt installed cause he isn't building proper boost. Did you get the truck fix?

 

Yeah it was the injectors and cups the whole time
