I recently got the EGR valve replaced and when everything was put back together I started getting air leaks everywhere, so I replaced a few gaskets and clamps. The only issue I’m having now is the clamp where the EGR tube meets with the cooler, it keeps leaking air, it whistles obnoxiously while I drive. I’ve replaced the gasket, clamp and even the tube itself, it only minimized the leak, the mechanic said the cooler is in good shape and I’ve hit a wall. Any suggestions, ideas? Thanks in advance.

Just because something’s brand new doesn’t mean it doesn’t have defects.

could be the gasket not seated properly or something’s off on the new parts.
