The I shift is still a manual gear box, it just uses electronics to tell it when to shift and air cylinders to do the actual fork movement.

I'm still curious to see what the real world #s are on these. I ended up with a w900, but if I keep having problems, I'll be selling this thing in a year or so...

    Holy wow!!

yeah you'll be jumping for joy going to an advanced fuel efficiency spec volvo ...hundreds more every week in your pocket and maneuvering sooo much better.

After getting my new 389L Pete.. I couldn't wait to get back in the 780-XE !! So much more real interior room, maneuverability and way more money in my pocket at the end of the week..

Yea my old 09 780 got 6.5avg loaded. This brick runs that empty, and is around 5 loaded. My 780 had more livable space too, even though the sleeper was 11" shorter than this.

Interior is trash. Things falling apart, poor performance from this x15, and the space just sucks. Kw one piece DPF is garbage. Typical long nose problems...lol

My 2019 Pete 389 was junk too. The build quality was total trash. Panels without all the fasteners, missing panels, electronics that didn't work, gauges that didn't work, on and on....

It's like a bunch of slapstick monkeys put the thing together.....i think Paccar has turned into total garbage trucks. What a shame.

Compared to your 09' truck you'll see a huge difference in fuel economy in the new ones especially with an advanced fuel efficiency specd XE package.
My 16' was a dramatic step up from my 2007 780 all around.

    Newto Trucking Thanks this.
