Quit under dispatch is hardly a deal breaker for a job interview.

It might be now, as tight as things are now days.

But the #1 sin, abandonment. Hardly raised an eyebrow a couple of years ago. Unless you had applied at a bottom feeder company. They knew you would eventually leave them after they screwed you hard enough. So they didn't want to see that on your DAC.

After reading your post, I have to agree. I will drop it and we'll just leave it at this. I don't want to discredit anyone and I'll just give all the benefit of the doubt.

Either way, the information takes time to resolve. Certain time frames can not be altered, even by DacFix.

I don't know how long the original poster has been working on this, nor do I know how long DacFix has been working on this. Some issues can take 30-90 days to correct.

Generally, a company will make an attempt to extract erroneous information quickly. If they're called on it. Others, will drag their feet forever. Riding the calender until the last moment.

It's cost me more than one job in the past. Companies delaying paperwork etc etc.

    Cybergal Thanks this.

Plus the fact that during the interview I was asked if I wanted to add any rebuttals, I said yes and they were not added on in the new dac report.
I never tried to fix this on my own, that was the point of using dac-fix....I agree they sometimes offer vital employee information, but,we have seen that many employers have put either false or bloated reports on a drivers dac that causes the driver to become unemployable, and this not being his/her fault.
What kind of sysytem is the dac report if a company can cause such grief on drivers?
And trying to get these issues resolved is a major task at times.
Why isn't there a program that drivers can report companies on their track records?
Let everyone see what some companies are all about in relation to safety/pay/fair labor practices.
And it should be just as impossible for them to clean the record.
So what I was saying is that for the $$ I spent I got a -goose--.They(dac-fix) are working on it,but contacting the person on the case has been an effort..
This has been ongoing for almost 4 months.....the issue at hand is that dac and usis are unfair to drivers, and put what is reported to them without having
any input from the driver untill it is already recorded and the driver cannot get reemployed.

I used DAC-FIX, paid the fee in nov 08, it's now march 09, they did not insert any of my rebuttals as I requested, changed very little on my dac, I can't get the case mgr
to return my calls....especialy about 1 certain issue....
I quess for some they work and for some not, but I am looking at a job in FL that the
owner is a driver and knows that the big companies and DAC are a crock of crap.
Dac is a legalized tool used by the industry to blackball and discredit drivers, granted there are some drivers that do merit what is put on their DAC, but for the most part
it is a waste of time.
