Double checking my DAC report today after talking to a friend, I see the page "Drug/Alcohol Disclosure" and it says "No Drug Information is on file" Does that mean my "refused drug test" from March 2009 is cleared??
For those who post helpful info, thanks.
For those who take this oppertunity to tear me a new one...get in line.
DAC Report is clean?

DAC isn't the only one in the game when it comes to collecting, storing, or giving out info...if you did it then it is out there somewhere and it will come back at to haunt you at the wrong time.

Its been over 3 years,
you're good. -
I was raised with the idea of "honesty is the best policy", so I'm keeping it honest. I'm looking for a 2nd chance, a chance to redeem myself. Some places will hire me if their insurance will cover me. Some places won't, but I'm not going to lie about this part of my life when asked. Cant haunt me if I dont lie, can only keep punishing me if I'm honest. Thanks for the info

There is NO natioal database of drug testing results,
as of right now anyway.
In the near future, for sure.

thats is true for now they will be making one soon though. But in arkansas if you get a job there and ur company is out of arkansas they can see every drug test u ever taken. Not sure if other states are like this or not.

Wasn't referring to a national database...there however is a record of him refusing a drug test somewhere...and it won't disappear.

Not all companies report to DAC .(Hireright). All info weather good or bad falls off after 7 years. You can request a free copy once a year on their website. Will receive within 3 weeks.

Actually a drug test falls under health care records and the information is protected by HIPPA so a data base can't be created. Drug test are found out when an employee fills out his application he signs a release. Some don't know what they are signing but they sign one. From there the game is on as that form is copied and sent to every previous employer and they return any drug test results as part of the background check required by the FMCSA.
