DAC Report Question

I worked for a trucking company and I quit but they put safety termination on my dac report, how do I get that disputed

You can contest anything on that report if you thing something is wrong. And DAC will have to investigate. You should at least get an explanation of what "other" exactly means. if the company doesn't respond to their investigation, it should be removed from your report.

I was told about that recently. Because Werner marked I dropped a trailer. All I did was jump the fifth wheel. They also have it saying I damaged equipment with that. Like wtf Werner you have drivers rolling over the truck and trailer. Then you put that for jumping the fifth wheel

DAC pays [credit against the monthly invoice] them to submit 'Termiantion Reports' and each category has limited responses to be checked off with some having the final check off of 'other' but no method to explain 'other' though there is another checkbox 'personal contact requested'.

It is all designed to keep Hirerite and their customers from problems under the fair credit reporting act.

All they really want are the dates of employment and separation reason to build into their database.

When a Hirerite customer submits a potential applicant they get back any results in the database.

Like so many other databases, it IS only as accurate as the items input into the database and it is not a complete report as it ONLY contains the material gathered and NOT everything about the individual.

Can I get your thoughts on this?

Others have stated that hiring on with a company using DAC is a No-Go. But if companies are putting correct information in DAC about you (my experience so far) doesn't that balance the field as it were? Separately, how would you know if DAC was used by your company (good or bad) until after you left and requested your own DAC report?

Pay attention to the things you sign.
Any company using DAC had you sign a release.
