Bull hauling is ####### awesome. Don't hold that jealousy in though. I got a 53' trailer full of bull so I guess i can't disagree with you there.

Many here have said he should have went to school yet you only chose a few to try to get some asinine point across. Maybe bull hauling requires no formal driving education as the insurance companies know that most of the live stock is going to slaughter. The cost of dead livestock, can indeed be high, especially a prize bull, but the cost of damaged/lost loads for electronics, cigarettes, alcohol, cars, is way higher.

But in the real world of trucking, insurance companies dictate to the trucking companies, who get's hired, and who doesn't, and that piece of worthless paper known as a certificate tells them at the very least, they had "some formal" training".

My trucking school certificate got me into a ###### steering wheel holder company that treated me like #### and kept me out on the road for months. I couldn't have gotten that job without that certificate so I guess that tells you what it's worth. When I told my bull hauler boss about my trucking school cert. he said he wasn't a fan of em. Never asked to see the CDL school cert. As to insurance, Bull hauling is one of the most high risk sectors of the industry in more way than one. We are screwed with by insurance companies just as much as you guys if not more. I haul just as many cattle going to feed lots and ranches as I do going to slaughter so not all the animals are going to slaughter like you say.

Now here, you too mentioned YOU went to trucking school, correct? But you say that the $5 grand was a waste of money, but yet YOU TOO have that piece of worthless paper, saying you have HAD formal training. Unless you are also saying that you know/knew it all, and never really needed that piece of paper, which beckons to ask, Why then did YOU go to a trucking school?

I went to trucking school to get a CDL. If you have another way to get a CDL that costs you less I'd highly recommend it. The first thing my trainer told me out of CDL school was to forget everything you learned in CDL school. They teach you no practical knowledge. Just get you a license and a worthless piece of paper.

It'll help with the insurance companies if you want to go work for a useless steering wheel holder company. Your better off without it though unless you like being treated like #### and kept out for months on end.

On the one hand, you denounced trucking schools, yet you too went to one. Sorta contradicted yourself a bit, I'd say.

I want to see YOU try and find a job with out some proof of driving school as the o/p has to go thru now. You have it "made in the shade", as far as YOUR experience, and that, uh, worthless piece of paper, saying that YOU graduated, with formal training.

I didn't contradict myself. I went to a top end truck driving school so i know what i'm talking about. I'm not just one of the old hands that never attended one talking about how much they hate em. I've lived it first hand and am here to tell you what the old hands say about is all true. They're worthless.

I got my bull hauling job without that certificate. I never showed him proof of attending Truck driving school and he didn't care to see it. Carry on at 62mph until retirement...

I pray systems hold..and he isnt allowed within 1000 feet of a travel-able road, ever...LOL!!!
