I received a violation for an illegal lane change across a solid white line, causing a crash that put my truck out of service and required a four wheeler to be towed away. I didn't actually do it, but it's on my psp and my DAC. I was hired by the first company that I applied to when I left swift. And I had a few tickets for no chains in Colorado, an over axle ticket, an expired registration. I'm also a felon with almost 15 years behind my felony...

You'll be hired within a few days.

Also I had 11 months experience when I quit... I was hired by a company that requires 2 years experience, with all that baggage.

I just got 4 days off paid for Thanksgiving and I get another 4 for Christmas. I go home daily and have weekends off.

Do not be scared to find a new job. Find a small company who need drivers. You'll be surprised. There are some real gems out there. I get 850 a week just for being available to work 65 hours. That's before I even turn the key. Then I get mileage pay, flexibility pay for having flexible hours I'm willing to work. I get another 154 if I work Sunday, plus another 100 for working during the weekend... and that's not even the miles.

Full benefits company paid from day 1. 401k 100% matched up to 100% of my salary from day 1. Inspection bonuses. Hell I get 154 bucks to go take a drug test.

I drive under a chute on a scale. Hop out and pull two buttons out. They load me on the scale. I press those two buttons and drive to the delivery. Hop out, connect hose. Turn on pump, stare at gauges. Open 3 valves. The end. Rinse and repeat. 80k a year pace so far.

Be thankful for the experience you got. Use that to change your life.
