DAC served a purpose in the beginning from the founder. In time, it was easy to manipulate the information one could enter into it. Checks and balances may have been added over the years, but as you say in today's world of information, DAC's time I think too is coming to an end. Too bad hundreds of driver's suffered from the evilness of anyone that had control of the information one could enter. I think nowadays, only the safety dept can enter anything, with maybe some input from the HR dept. otherwise, no more managers, dispatchers, or even the janitor can do us in anymore.

How long have these DAC reports been around? I don't remember them being mentioned in the '70's or '8o's.

There is a very large need for drivers now. DAC has very little power in keeping you from getting a job. You maybe turned down by a few but so many companies need drivers right now just put out more resumes.
I am not the best driver in the world. But I work hard. I run hard. I make good money. You can to. Do not let DAC keep you from success.
