dac?

Not sure I thought Fed Ex only has owner ops. In my area there are no company Fed Ex drivers. The owner ops do the hiring for their trucks. And im sure they aren't using hire right services

 

Although I cannot speak for FedEx Ground, nor FedEx, I can say that a long time ago, I worked for the now defunct RPS which was company/and o/o's. To work there, as a company driver, I can assure you that a full background check was done on me, including finger printing.>!! and this was all long before TSA..!!

RPS was sold to FedEx, which they split into FedEx Ground, which are o/o's and some company drivers.

So I could only surmise, FULL background checks are done, as I am somewhat certain they fall under the US Postal rules/codes like my old employer DHL did, and man, did I get a background check from them..!!

But like some companies, they can check a DAC at any time, before hire, or in orientation, even during your employment with them.

 

It depends on what flavor of FedEx you are talking about. There’s FedEx Express, FedEx Ground, FedEx Custom Critical, and FedEx Freight. Some divisions are all O/O and others have company drivers.

 

Whether or not they use HireRight, they most likely do reference checks and anything on a DAC is probably not going to be under wraps for long.

If I were you, I know I'd rather try to explain whatever it is than have a monkey on my back, worrying I could be found out and fired at any time for failing to disclose it.
