The wheel in the picture is on my driver's side front axle. Do you think this small dent would be enough to cause a vibration at highway speeds? I feel it in the steering wheel as well as the seat.

I am thinking Chinese tires will cause a greater vibration than the wheel damage.
snowman_w900, wore out, fargonaz and 8 others Thank this. -
The problem has been there since I bought the truck. Since then, I've replaced and balanced all 10 wheels, 6 shocks, kingpins, 3 axle alignment, new drums, brakes and bearings. The ride height has also been set to every workable conceivable level. The vibration is still there.

you ever get the drive shaft balanced?Diesel Dave and DSK333 Thank this.
-
Yes, I forgot about that. I've replaced all the universal joints on all shafts, had them all balanced and put a new carrier bearing on too.

what about torque rod bushings?
what about bearings in the diffs..??
lol... we both got to the same things at the same time..lolDSK333 Thanks this. -
what about any isolation bushings on the drive shaft support bearing?
DSK333 Thanks this. -
Indeed, all the torque arms have been rebushed. I have suspicions about the differential since it's a used unit that was installed before I bought the truck. I have not touched it.
