Not that hard, I have guys that run 5 days and 2 at home that do that. And they do it legal.

I know of someone that has/had the same idea(editing his elogs), he has an appointment (AUDIT)with the FEDS. He claimed like you did in earlier posts on how hard(illegally) he drove. I’m waiting to hear how the outcome came out.

Each entry is required to have a GPS location to it. So if you drive under yard, move or PC and edit it to Sleeper, for example. There will be a difference between each location entry. Pretty easy to spot if you’re doing an inspection… just passing on a thought. If you really wanna go cowboy, just do a bunch of Ag.

If you don’t know how to edit them then yes we’ll be cop but if you know what you’re doing it’s very hard to get caught. It’s absolutely no difference in editing your paper log it’s just digital.

That’s why you edit it internally so even on an audit, there’s nothing there. You got them know how to do it. It’s no difference than doing paper logs.

Well, congrats to them. I don’t know how they’re doing it because the market is not that great if they’re making that then they’re doing something other than just dry van

Ya….. ok…… dont be throwing us a “fib” when the “Feds” catch up to you, and they will. Fair warning.

Well first of all. You are a cheap freight hauler and the only way you are able to make any sort of living is to run illegal as ####. You doing this is only serving to keep the rates low. You are too stupid to realize this is only hurting you.

Second you are a loud mouth. While you are running illegal you are out on the internet talking #### and bragging about cheating the logs. And there is a record of your changes. It’s mandatory for these eld companies to maintain a record of all changes.

Third. While you are on this thread you are on another about how your wore out bucket is eating steer tires. And you can’t even afford to buy two steer tires at the same time. (Nobody replaces them one at a time) unless they are broke.

So yeah you are everything wrong with trucking. Stopped being a complete moron. You’ll be happier and make more money in the end.

I’m off on the weekends at my house. And I run a legal log. My checks average 3500-3900 after all deductions including insurance. So go on and keep wearing out your truck working 7 days a week for that extra thousand dollars.

What’s the point of being leased to a carrier if the carrier doesn’t have any direct freight? If they’re just chasing leftovers on the spot market you’d be better off going someplace else, especially if they’re not allowing you to book your own loads. No way I’d be giving up a percentage to a carrier that didn’t have a sizeable freight base and only uses the spot market once in a while to fill in.
