DAT Load Board Service increasing pricing by 25%

Meanwhile, the rates are falling. Fools! I can't wait until they go out of business.

 

Problem is DAT and ITS pretty much have a monopoly going on. Not many options for us to choose from. That's not really a market at all.

 

Free market also means you can go solicit direct customers and undercut others with better rates and superior service.

That being said I never want direct customers and repetitive freight....ever.

My rates have gone up and if I don't get my higher rates I don't move.

 

Then start your own and compete with them. Nothing is holding you back from that. They don't have a Monopoly, they just don't have any competition.

 

Reminds me of house prices and States and their friggin never ending raising of property taxes!

 

No competition is close enough.

 

For that we have no one to blame but ourselves. We have the same opportunity to do what they've done but we choose not to. Focus on what you can control and don't give the rest any thought.

 

That's why I cancelled my subscription and I'm working on removing ITS next.
